Challenge 67 New Beginnings

Hello this is Lisa and I'm here to share my first challenge. I have a lot of friends getting married, moving house and having babies so it would have been silly of me to pick a theme that wasn't NEW BEGINNINGS. I would love to see you create something to celebrate a New Beginning. I've already given a couple of suggestions above, but the possibilties are endless...New Job, Graduation, Retirement, etc, etc.

Now onto the fantastic inspiration from the DT:

Elaine
I used Sarah Hurley papers and Postcard as my journalling tag

This is the first page in a new creative journal, I used Sarah's Spray Inks, Black for the splats in the background & candyfloss pink to colour the corrugated card hearts, I also used papers from the Sarah's Craft Basics Collection for the collaged circles & the Blue Polka Dot Paper from the Britannia CD with the Woodland Whimsies Stamp Set for the clouds as well as words cut from the Steampunk CD word & alpha sheet.

I used papers from Sarah's Britannia CD and combined them with Tim Holtz Alterations dies to make this Bon Voyage card.
I used an assortment of Sarah Hurley papers to decorate my journal page.
I've used pastel papers from Sarah's Craft Basics Collection to create a New Baby card. I've tried to keep the colours neutral as our friends baby isn't due until September and they don't know what they're having.

I mad this wee Baby's Buggy using the gorjuss Purple Gingham Basic Collection

I do hope you join us for my first challenge theme and we look forward to seeing your projects - you have until midnight on 3rd June to enter - just click below to submit your link!

Thanks

Challenge 66 - *Sponsored by Sarah Hurley* - Tags & Tickets

This week the sponsor is little old me! and up for grabs for the winner this week is £10 worth of digi downloads from my shop as well as a digi stamp each for those in 2nd and 3rd place - you can see my whole range of products here if you aren't familiar with them :o)

The theme this week is Tags & Tickets - I love Tags & Tickets and include them in most of my CD's and kits, I can't get enough! Now I want to see what you do with yours, whether its a single tag, a greeting on a card or journaling on a scrapbook page or in your Smash Book or Journal - come and share! :o)

Here is the inspiration from my lovely Design Team...

Elaine
I used Sarah Hurley Halloween papers, Steampunk ticket and a Journalling ticket.

I used papers and the Love topper from the Britannia cd but all the papers can now be found on the Craft/Scrap Basics Collection too.
I used the delish Steampunk Papers and digi wing along with my own stash to make this wee tag with my rose die and distress ink
I used Sarah's fab new Craft Basics range and the tags from the Britannia CD to create this layout, I also cut a ticket strip from the Craft Basic pastel polka dot paper using a Tim Holtz Alterations die.

I've used papers from the English Country Garden Collection on Sarah's Britannia CD to make a little tag shaped card.

Clare

I made a gift tag and used some scraps from the Britannia CD
This tag was made with bits from the Oz CD

Challenge 65 Take me HOME.

Hi there it's Jaine here bringing you this next challenge.

At the moment I have such a 'thing' for houses you wouldn't believe and it shows no signs of stopping either.  So it naturally followed that as it's my turn to set the challenge I'd choose houses or home as a theme.

I want to see houses or castles, whatever you think of as "home" or maybe just the word HOME on a project, whatever comes to mind.

As usual the DT have provided some fantastic and diverse inspiration below to get you going.

I made myself a mini journal and cut the little house from papers from the Brittannia CD - shrunk to fit on the computer.

I used papers and the layered blossoms, to create 3D blooms from Sarah's fabulous new Britannia CD to make my "New Home" card and combined them with some Tim Holtz Alterations die cuts.

Claireliz
I found this unloved printers tray in a charity shop so I rescued it & altered it using Sarah's fantastic new Brittania CD. I used a Tim Holtz Alterations die for the Keyhole, I also added some little crochet flowers & a fabric flower that I made for embellishments. I turned the tiny photos into faux polaroids by mounting them on white cardstock.

Clare

The papers, image, sentiment and the bunting are from Sarah's Britania cd, the collection is called English Country garden.Punches are xcut, MS and the oval and circle die is from spellbinders.

Elaine
I used Sarah Hurley papers from the OZ cd to create a paper pieced 3D castle card.

Challenge 64 - Circles

Hi Folks Jess here with this weeks challenge is Circles - whether it's a card or a scrapbook page, as long as it's circular we don't mind.

You have until midnight on 22nd April to submit your entries.

Here are all the super duper creations from myself and my fellow Teamies:

I've Created a Round Gatefold Card Using the Woodland Whimsies CD

for the Balloon Paper and Topper and Created My Own Sentiment

Elaine

I used the Wonderland CD, and kraft cardstock as my base, plus Sizzix tattered florals to cut out complimenting flowers from satin.

I used the Easter Tea Party Kit to make a wee circular layout

I used papers from the Easter digi kit to cut all my elements. The bird is Sizzix and the flowers are hand drawn.

Emma
For my challenge piece, I chose to make a circular storage container using papers from Sarah's Easter digi kit.

Claireliz
I used Sarah's Steampunk papers to make this little (slightly wonky) circular card.
clare

The papers and balloon image are from the steampunk digi kit. The flowers are from the woodland whimsy stamp set

Lisa
I've used a mix of papers from the Steampunk CD and from the Wizard School Mini Kit to make a Telescope card.

Thanks for joining us.
